Paul Grunloh, President AKRA Builders is managed by Paul Grunloh. Paul became an owner and president of AKRA in 1993. He has been with the company from the very beginning, starting as summer help in the field, moving up to foreman, then vice president of operations, and now his current position as president. Paul is a member of the Association of Builders and Contractors, the Jack Miller Network, the Construction Specifications Institute, the Illinois Ready Mixed Concrete Association, the Tilt-Up Concrete Association, the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association, the NFIB, the Illinois State Chamber of Commerce, and the Effingham Chamber of Commerce. He also has his Metal Building Assemblers certification. He has served on the President’s Advisory Council of Metallic Building Company from 1995 to 1998 and again from 2001 to 2004. Metallic Building Company has awarded him Top Builder of the Year in 1997 and its President’s Award in 2003. Paul also serves as the president of the Teutopolis Park District. |

Jeanne Althoff, Chief Financial Officer Jeanne Althoff is the chief financial officer and business manager, handling all the financial aspects of the business. She joined AKRA in 1993. With more than 20 years of total experience, Jeanne has worked in both public accounting and private industry. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Jeanne serves on the Zoning Board of Appeals in Teutopolis, IL and is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association. |

John Grunloh, Estimator / Project Manager John Grunloh committed to AKRA full-time in 1993 after having worked part-time during the summer months in the field while attending school. John has an academic background in business and has advanced his skills into the position of estimator and project manager. He is also the safety coordinator for the company and ensures that all safety regulations are observed. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, member of the Jack Miller Network and member of SAFECO. John has also attended Metallic Product and Sales School. |

Chad Armstrong, Estimator / Project Manager Joining AKRA in 2000 with a construction and engineering background is Chad Armstrong. Chad is a project manager/estimator and is involved in CAD project design work, project estimating, material ordering, project scheduling and project management. He graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Science, Civil Engineering from Lake Land College. In addition, he has earned a certificate in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) from the same institution. |

Donnie Dill, Project Manager Donnie Dill is a project manager with the primary responsibility for non-local projects throughout the country. Donnie started with the company working during summers while attending school. He graduated from Lake Land College with an Associates Degree in Architectural Construction Technology & Design and obtained CAD certification. He returned to AKRA in 1995 after several years as a draftsman inspector for J.M. Davidson and Associates in Mattoon. Donnie is a member of the Lake Land College Building Construction Technology Program Advisory Committee. |

Larry Moore, Project Manager Larry Moore became a member of the AKRA team full-time in 1997. He has an Associates Degree from Lake Land College in Architectural Construction Technology & Design and his CAD certificate. As a project manager, Larry uses his AutoCAD skills to lay out many of AKRA’s newest projects in blueprint form. He also provides project estimating, material ordering and project scheduling. Since joining AKRA Builders, Larry has become specialized in manufacturing construction. |

Jason Probst, Drafting Supervisor Jason is the head of the AKRA drafting team. He joined AKRA full-time in 1998 after graduating from Lake Land College with an Associates Degree in Architectural Construction Technology. Jason uses his AutoCAD skills to layout many of AKRA’s newest projects in blueprint form. He is an integral part of the AKRA team, turning customer vision into reality. |

Jean Vogt, Accounting Jean Vogt joined the AKRA Builders team in 1999. She is in charge of the day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, subcontracts, payroll, job costing and billing. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University. She is a member of the Timberline Users Group. |

Ron “Reggie”
Zerrusen, Superintendent Reggie Zerrusen has been with AKRA since 1977. He has been a job supervisor for the last 15 years and was a foreman prior. A graduate of the American Concrete Institute, Reggie is a certified flatwork finisher and technician. He is a Teutopolis High School graduate, a member of the Knights of Columbus and served on the building committee of St. Francis Church Council. |

Dan Worman, Superintendent A superintendent/project manager for AKRA, Dan Worman has 25 years experience in the construction industry. He learned the trade working at Effingham Builders while still in school. He graduated from Lake Land College with an Associates Degree in electronics, applied sciences. Dan was self-employed before joining the AKRA team. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, chairman of Youth In Action, a St. Anthony High School graduate and a member of their Booster Club. |

Joe Runde, Superintendent Starting as a carpenter over 25 years ago, Joe Runde has risen to job superintendent for the last 10 years. He has an Associates Degree in business from Lake Land College. Joe is a member of the Knights of Columbus, a Teutopolis High School graduate and coaches Little League and Small Fry youth leagues. |

Jim Ramert, Superintendent In 2001, Jim joined AKRA as a superintendent with 13 years of construction experience. He earned an Associates degree in Architectural Construction Technology from Lake Land College. Prior to joining AKRA, he worked as an estimator/project manager and then was self-employed as a residential and light commercial contractor. Jim is a member of the Knights of Columbus, coaches T-ball and is a former Dale Carnegie course graduate assistant. |
